Senior Media Advisor

The Senior Media Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing impactful media strategies that drive business growth.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Media relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
  • Crisis communications: Managing sensitive communications during crisis situations, including responding to media inquiries and coordinating spokesperson briefings.
  • Media operations: Overseeing day-to-day media operations, including monitoring the media landscape and identifying reputation risks for escalation and response.

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years' experience in communications, media relations, or related field with proven leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with media interview experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
