Safety Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support, develop, improve and implement systems, processes and reporting capabilities to establish and embed risk and safety routines and practices within our Major Projects division.

  • Lead governance activities to review the effectiveness of the risk management and assurance processes.
  • Record and manage risk information in our business risk management system.
  • Develop safety reporting metrics dashboards to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Maintain our SharePoint site used to manage and communicate risk information, planning process and associated reporting.
  • Deliver expert advice and information to stakeholders and promote risk management awareness and knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will need formal training or qualifications in Health & Safety Management, Risk Management and proficiency in data analysis, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and SharePoint. You will also have experience in conducting and facilitating risk and control assessments, sound written and verbal communication skills, and an aptitude for continuous improvement and simplification.
