Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide multidisciplinary engineering leadership and governance at our Nickel West sites. This role will involve acting as a mentor and influential people leader to the team and wider engineering group, while being an effective influencer of change throughout the business.

In this position, you will be responsible for driving the Engineering Information Management within the group, championing engineering effectiveness within Nickel West, and maintaining strong working relationships with the wider stakeholder groups. You will also lead engineering governance and assurance activities, ensuring that projects meet technical, functional, and business requirements.

About You:

  • Hold a degree qualification with a solid understanding of governance programs.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and influence at various levels within the organisation.
  • Bring experience in a senior role with technical governance, engineering management, statutory compliance, and risk management.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, providing technical leadership, stewardship, support, and solutions.
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Be action-oriented and strategically focused, with superior problem-solving, decision-making, and influencing skills.
