Job Overview
As a senior leader in our organization, you will drive business growth by leveraging data insights to inform strategic decision-making. Your role will be instrumental in building and scaling our Analytics function, fostering a culture of data-driven excellence that impacts the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with our company's overall goals and objectives.
- Analytics Function Scaling: Lead the growth and maturation of our central Analytics function, ensuring its effectiveness in delivering actionable insights across various business units.
- Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of business analysts, data engineers, and future data scientists, equipping them with the skills necessary to drive business outcomes.
- Business Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with executive leadership and department heads, understanding their analytical needs and delivering tailored solutions to address critical business challenges.
- Advanced Analytics: Plan for and build out a data science capability within the analytics function, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and machine learning to uncover deeper insights and build predictive models.
- Reporting and Analytics Tools: Oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools that empower business users to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced professional with:
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science).
- Proven experience in leading and growing Analytics functions, driving business outcomes through data-driven strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical expertise in data management, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in data science and machine learning.
