Street Cleaning Operative

This is a challenging role that requires a self-motivated individual to join our busy Cleansing Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking street cleaning, carrying out routine cleaning and litter collection, operating minor plant, and inspecting facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake street cleaning and routine cleaning tasks
  • Operate minor plant including high pressure hoses and blowers
  • Inspect facilities and report on maintenance and equipment issues
  • Perform ad-hoc street cleansing duties as required

The ideal candidate will have a MR Licence, experience driving a compactor, and hold a White Card. Steel toe cap boots and high visibility shirt or vest are also essential. Previous experience in an open space team is an advantage.
