Safety Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity to provide positive engagement, guidance, and support through strong Safety Leadership style, deploying initiatives to continually review and improve workplaces for employees, contractors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, implement, and support safety processes and practices across multiple sites.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand how safety and wellbeing can be improved.
- Identify change and support the business with change management activities.
- Lead sites through their Safety journey through strong engagement.
- Promote awareness of safety initiatives and communications.
- Provide coaching, technical safety training, ongoing mentoring to leaders, site Instructors, and contractor controllers.
- Review and appraise processes and controls on site to assess for adequacy, compliance, and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessments, and coach sites on learnings to prevent harm to individuals.
- Tertiary qualified in Health and Safety; minimum undergraduate degree.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.
- Experienced in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Effective at influencing and coaching a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Innovative and creative approach to safety with a proactive attitude.
- Passionate about your profession, engaging with people, and a desire for career development.
