We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Public Sector team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, and identifying and building relationships with key decision makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory
  • Challenge outdated approaches to IT
  • Utilise internal resources to drive customer outcomes
  • Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers
  • Drive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
  • Create and articulate a compelling value proposition to customers
  • Analyse sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
  • Build, develop, and execute on an account and territory strategy
  • Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services

Requirements
  • 3+ years of technical sales experience in B2B environments
  • Knowledge of existing and developing technologies
  • Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
  • Sales experience with a focus on quota-carrying roles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling cloud and/or SaaS solutions into government
  • Experience working with consulting partners and system integrators
