About the Role

This Procurement Account Specialist will be part of a team working with major technology vendors servicing top-tier agencies and departments.
Responsibilities include:
  • Nurturing and growing key accounts, delivering a high degree of service
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience and repeat business through effective service level arrangements
  • Identifying project needs and coordinating the required service through the project lifecycle
  • Effectively networking to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Qualifying, quoting, and closing new sales opportunities

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Previous account management and client relationship experience
  • Demonstrated experience in reigniting and expanding existing accounts
  • An understanding of how government projects work and strong stakeholder management in similar processes
  • A natural interest and curiosity in technology
  • Problem-solving abilities with strong interpersonal skills
  • A high attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience in servicing a client portfolio of Government and Defence customers is highly regarded
