Job Description
We are seeking an Energy Operations Assistant to join our Commercial Operations team in Australia. This exciting opportunity will provide invaluable insights into retail electricity operations and enable you to develop your professional skills in a rapidly evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) retail activities, focusing on customer account management, data accuracy, and service order execution.
- Support projects related to customer account data, service orders, and operational improvements, gaining exposure to project management best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Customer Support to enhance operational efficiency within the retail business unit.
- Contribute to the review and maintenance of existing standard operating procedures by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting process enhancements under senior team guidance.
What You'll Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an operational role, preferably within the technology or energy sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across multiple functions and teams.
- A proactive attitude, capable of following instructions while driving innovation and improving processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to accuracy in data management and documentation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
Benefits and Salary:
This role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
