Senior Project Manager Opportunity at Yarra City Council

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Delivery Unit at Yarra City Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and effective delivery of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine and manage project priorities to ensure effective application of resources and achieve project outcomes.
  • Regularly review project productivity, effectiveness, quality, and profitability, including project follow-up to monitor deliverables.
  • Review and approve quote submissions, proposals, or tenders in accordance with allocated budget.
  • Ensure projects are run in accordance with Project Administration Procedures, including project initiation, fee proposals, and acceptance.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships and networks within the industry to ensure a high level of respect and regard.
  • Identify new opportunities to gain further value for money and assist with the pursuit of opportunities as directed.
  • Review and make recommendations on equipment and resource requirements to effectively and efficiently deliver projects.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all team members and maintain professional standards.
