Construction Equipment Team Lead

The role of Construction Equipment Team Lead involves leading a team responsible for the planning, organization and supervision of construction equipment build operations to meet customer requirements and KPIs.

Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient utilization of equipment and resources, supervising workshop personnel, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment utilization and resource management.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure seamless communication.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant trade qualifications, such as a diesel or mobile plant mechanic certificate.
  • Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams.
  • Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS principles.
  • Experience in maintaining mining and construction equipment, preferably with Hitachi exposure.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to use initiative to contribute to continuous improvement and drive change.
