Job Overview

The Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader plays a pivotal role in supporting a team of professionals in delivering exceptional service to residents living in residential aged care homes.

This is an opportunity for a dedicated individual to lead the leisure and lifestyle program, operational requirements, and management duties while being an integral member of the senior RAC Services management team.

  • Lead the development and implementation of engaging programs and activities to enhance resident well-being and engagement
  • Support a team of professionals in delivering high-quality services
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the leisure and lifestyle program, including operational and management requirements
  • Developing and implementing new programs and activities to enhance resident engagement and well-being
  • Supporting a team of professionals in delivering the activity program
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a leisure and lifestyle coordination or assistant role
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • A strong commitment to high-quality care
  • Excellent coordination, delegation, and prioritization skills
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with dementia, cognitive decline, and/or mental health conditions
  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification
