Our mission is to provide exceptional support services that enable individuals with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.

We are seeking a skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our clients. This role involves implementing support services aimed at maximising the living, social and recreational skills of people with a disability.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for delivering person-centred care.

The Disability Support Worker will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Aiding clients with mobility challenges through proper manual handling techniques and assisting with exercises
  • Supporting clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities
  • Assisting with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment
  • Handling clients with high behaviours, employing appropriate strategies to ensure their safety and well-being

The successful applicant will also require:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • CIII or CIV Disability or Aged Care qualification
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Valid Working Rights in Australia
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
