Job Title: Automotive Finisher

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the paint finishing process.

  • Mix and match colours for each vehicle, following strict guidelines to ensure perfect finishes.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive colour library to guarantee accuracy and consistency in our work.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by applying primers and coatings according to specifications.
  • Buff and denib each vehicle to achieve showroom quality finishes.
  • Handle all vehicles with care and attention, ensuring no damage occurs during the process.
  • Document any additional paintwork required beyond initial estimates.
  • Notify production managers of any pre-existing damage or subpar repairs found on incoming vehicles.
  • Clean workstations and surrounding areas to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentices as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as a trade qualified Spray Painter (or similar role) with at least 3 years of hands-on experience. This individual must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety, exceptional communication skills, and an unwavering focus on detail. Additionally, they must be able to collaborate effectively within the team and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
