Senior Mechanical Draftsperson Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Draftsperson to join our Engineering team at our Bunbury Workshop.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our clients in the Bulk Material Handling sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical plant and equipment using Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault, and Navisworks
  • Review and approve technical drawings and models for mechanical plant and equipment design
  • Lead a team of Draftspersons and provide guidance and support to ensure procedural and technical compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet client requirements

Requirements:

  • Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in a Senior or Lead Mechanical Draftsperson role
  • Relevant experience in the Mining and Resource industry
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault, and Navisworks
