Job Title:

Injury Management Advisor

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Injury Management Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and wellbeing of all workers through proactive injury management, facilitation of workers' compensation processes, and promotion of health strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective injury management plans to minimize work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Facilitate workers' compensation claims and provide support to injured employees.
  • Collaborate with the Safety & Training Manager to promote health and wellbeing strategies.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor workplace hazards and provide recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years occupational health/injury management experience.
  • Qualifications such as Occupational Health, Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiologist desirable.
  • Knowledge of Fitness for Work requirements, Ergonomics, Workers' Compensation, and Occupational Health Rehabilitation Services.
