At our mine site, the Communities Social Performance team is crucial in building trust and delivering partnerships across the Northern Territory.
We are seeking a Community Engagement Lead to shape stakeholder engagement strategies, build relationships with Traditional Owners and partners, and provide expert advice on social performance.
Impact of the Role:- Design and deliver stakeholder engagement strategies that strengthen trust and reputation.
- Lead sponsorships and high-profile events showcasing our commitment to the Territory.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with Traditional Owners, Indigenous organisations, community groups, government and industry partners.
- Provide trusted advice to senior leaders on stakeholder engagement risks, opportunities and best practice.
- Develop communication materials for internal and external audiences, ensuring transparency and clarity.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, ideally within mining, infrastructure, government or related sectors.
- Strong capability in event management and sponsorship delivery.
- Excellent planning, organisation and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability.
- The ability to navigate sensitive and complex issues with diplomacy, cultural awareness and integrity.
- Demonstrated experience working with Traditional Owners and Indigenous communities.
