Administration Officer Role
">We are seeking a skilled and organized Administration Officer to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience with financial management, asset maintenance, and procurement.
About the Job">The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance and facilities operations of the school. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, student accounts, debt collection, procurement, and financial reporting
- Assisting with contractor coordination, maintenance scheduling, and asset management
- Supporting tuckshop operations and supervising grounds and cleaning staff
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and have strong communication skills.
">Your Responsibilities
">As the Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing financial tasks in accordance with departmental policy and procedures
- Banking duties, accounts receivable and payable processing, managing student accounts and debt collection processes
- Asset management, providing financial reports to cost centre owners, undertaking procurement of consumables and assets
- Liaising with and scheduling external contractors, scheduling and managing maintenance activities
- Implementing and monitoring process and policy for the issue of school keys to staff, hirers and community users
- Maintenance of buildings and grounds, and procurement of furniture and fittings
- Management of Work Area Access Permits (WAAP) for all contractors on school grounds
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
- Identify maintenance requirements in accordance with Maintenance Assessment Report and school needs
