About the Role:

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team in Mount Isa.

In this role, you will work with advanced technology, including computer-controlled systems and electronic diagnostic tools, to repair, maintain, and service key CAT machinery and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Assembly of Caterpillar equipment
  • Use Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems (ET Vims, SIMSi and SIS)
  • Perform diagnostic assessments on mining, general construction, and power generation equipment
  • Work as part of a skilled and driven team
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to achieve target times for repairs
