About the RoleWe seek a dedicated individual to serve as a positive role model to other carers and families. The successful candidate will be open to sharing personal lived experience of assisting individuals with mental health needs.
This role involves working within appropriate boundaries, drawing on knowledge and expertise gained through reflection on own lived experience. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to complement existing services.
Key responsibilities include providing direct carer peer support to carers, families and significant others, engaging in individual and group peer support, advocacy and educational activities.
As a valued member of our team, you will have access to flexible working arrangements, competitive salary rates with annual incremental increases, and a range of benefits including salary packaging and higher than standard employer contribution to Superannuation of up to 12.75%.
