Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated graduate to join our team in statutory planning. This role offers hands-on experience across urban, rural and environmental planning matters.

Main Responsibilities
  • Gain experience in duty enquires, development assessment, compliance and policy.
  • Work with an experienced planning team to develop skills in town planning.
  • Contribute to the Council's Statutory Planning team.
About You
  • You must be currently enrolled in or studying a Bachelor of Planning at a registered training organisation.
  • You have general computer literacy, strong interpersonal skills and organisational skills.
  • You can apply planning theory to real-world situations and work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirements
  • Ability to apply planning theory to real-world situations.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
Employment Details

This is a full-time position with a 35 hour week and regular days off.
