Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional Career Manager to join our Customer Success team. This role is pivotal in developing and executing a career management program that empowers consultants to achieve their professional growth, skill development, and career progression.
The successful candidate will design and implement frameworks, processes, and documentation to establish the role within the Customer Success team. They will lead the creation and execution of the department's career management program, ensuring both career aspirations and business needs are aligned.
Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted resource for consultants, offering guidance and facilitating career growth, performance management, and proactive feedback. The ideal candidate will guide consultants through their learning and development journey, advising them on training or engagement opportunities that will help advance their career.
To succeed in this role, you will drive high-frequency consultant interaction and engagement with internal stakeholders. You will oversee and improve systems and processes to develop, evaluate, and retain top talent. Additionally, you will work closely with Customer Success global leaders to align talent initiatives with regional needs and metrics.
As a Career Manager, you will be the consultant's advocate in performance management processes. You will administer and enhance processes for feedback, performance reviews, and promotion calibrations in collaboration with project engagement managers and technical advisors.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organization Development, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Career Counseling, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Proven ability to provide proactive one-on-one counsel to 50 consultants, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled at setting up meetings, tracking goals, and managing processes.
- Adept at navigating challenging situations and driving conversations toward resolution.
- Experience managing a pool of resources in a consulting and professional services organization.
- Facilitative working style; able to lead with questions, not just answers.
- Passion for continuous improvement.
