We are seeking experienced Boilermakers and Welders to join our Production Team in Osborne, SA.

A relocation assistance of $13,100 will be provided to successful candidates to assist with their move to Adelaide.

  • This is a permanent long-term career opportunity on a major defence shipbuilding program.
  • Rates starting from $44.81 waged are available, with 30% uplift for afternoon and night shift work.

If you want to work in the most advanced shipyard in the world building complex Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigates, we have multiple opportunities available.

About the Role
  1. You will undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production supervision and/or trades trainer within bounds of current competence.
  2. On-the-job training will be provided as required to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  3. You will properly maintain materials, tools and equipment, and strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
  4. You must adhere to our company policies and management practices at all times.
Requirements
  • You must have experience in fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding.
  • You must be able to read drawings.
  • A strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment is essential.
  • You must have strong time keeping abilities and excellent communication skills.
Clearances

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
