Job Description:

We are seeking skilled Boilermakers and Welders to join our Production Team based in Osborne, SA.

The ideal candidate will have experience with fabrication and MIG or Flux Core welding, as well as the ability to read drawings and maintain a strong safety focus.

This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to be part of a dynamic team building complex Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and trades trainers within current competence
  • Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required
  • Maintain materials, tools, and equipment properly
  • Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes, and effectiveness in the work area
  • Adhere to BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience with fabrication and MIG or Flux Core welding
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment
  • Strong time keeping abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
