Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Global Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team in the Asia Pacific region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the success of our global payroll products, which are natively built and fully integrated with our broader suite of products.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with monthly payroll tax filings and payments throughout the APAC region
- Execute routine audits on STP filings and superannuation payments for Australian customers
- Manage monthly CPF filings and payments for Singapore customers
- Assist with operational tasks in New Zealand such as payday filings
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records, deductions, and tax withholdings across all APAC countries
- Drive issue resolution and communication with various government agencies such as ATO, IRD, and IRAS
- Directly engage with our customers and effectively resolve their issues
- Work closely with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to ensure that our natively built payroll software supports key payroll and tax compliance requirements
- Experience running payroll in the APAC region and familiarity with associated tax compliance requirements, specifically in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore
- Prior involvement with tax calculations, superannuation & CPF filings and payments, as well as tax notice resolution with ATO, IRD, and IRAS
- Familiarity with APAC HR & Payroll law and policy
- Minimum of 2+ years in global payroll tax and minimum of 3+ years in a client-facing role
- Ability to manage and solve a queue of customer support tickets
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills: high attention to detail with excellent work product, time management, and execution
