Senior Homelessness Policy Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to contribute to homelessness system reform and strategic policy development. This role will focus on improving outcomes for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness through the development of policy advice that sets the future directions for homelessness system reform.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes. They will be responsible for contributing to projects that meet departmental objectives, including research, analysis, and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to projects to meet departmental objectives including research, analysis and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Assist in providing authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Undertake research and investigations to contribute to the development of sound policy recommendations, and system/service solutions within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Driven by a desire to improve outcomes for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
- A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, committed to delivering high quality work under tight timeframes.
