Job Title:

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop process plant mechanical systems, including reactors, heat exchangers, piping, and storage systems.
  • Translate process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) into detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct structural and thermal calculations to ensure the integrity of mechanical equipment under extreme operating conditions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 10 years' experience in process plant mechanical design, preferably in the chemical, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design codes (ASME, API, AS/NZS).
  • Expertise in high-temperature materials, cryogenic systems, and corrosion resistance.
  • Proven track record leading mechanical design packages from concept through detailed design and delivery.

This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects. You must have the legal right to work in Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, or Malaysia.
