Job Description

The Enterprise Revenue Management Expert will play a pivotal role in the revenue accounting team, collaborating with the enterprise sales department to provide expert guidance on financial processes and technical accounting. This involves reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies, achieving alignment with key stakeholders on revenue accounting impacts, and identifying continuous process improvements for the order-to-cash process.

This individual will possess a deep understanding of revenue accounting policies, particularly ASC 606, and will be solution-oriented, with strong business acumen and the ability to simplify complex problems in communication. They will also be responsible for managing contract reviews, providing support and guidance to sales, legal, and order management teams on deal structures and contractual terms, and serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding revenue accounting matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

  • 5+ years of revenue experience with at least 3 years in a technical accounting position
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and primarily revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
  • Proficiency in using large-scale ERP systems (Oracle Fusion a plus), and Revpro
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent is preferred, but not required
