Rostering Officer Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled Roster Co-ordinator to create accurate and efficient rosters for all Collectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain staff profiles in electronic rostering systems, ensuring they accurately reflect position, hours, award, area, and shift.
  • Enter data accurately on the system of any changes to shifts.
  • Manage updates or changes to rosters due to personal leave, shift swap requests, or other unforeseen requirements.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders in a positive and courteous manner, providing accurate and appropriate information if requested.
  • Monitor casual employees' availability, declined shifts, and variability of areas/shifts worked.
  • Utilize Reliever Collectors to the full extent of their contracted hours within the most efficient radius of their nominated hub.
  • Liaise with relevant teams to address vacancies that cannot be filled or only partially filled.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience with electronic rostering systems.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the health industry.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt communication style based on audience needs.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes.
