Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Premier Industrial. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance program, leading and supporting your team to ensure all jobs are completed effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance program: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment and facilities.
  • Lead and support your team: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Identify and address maintenance issues: Conduct regular inspections and identify potential maintenance issues to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities: Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Manage maintenance budgets: Develop and manage maintenance budgets to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with other departments, including production and operations, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Full Australian Working Rights: Must have full Australian working rights to be eligible for this role.
  • Relevant Trade Certificate: Must have a relevant trade certificate, such as a mechanical or electrical trade certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • Experience in the FMCG sector: Must have experience working in the FMCG sector, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance: Must have experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment.
  • Experience using Maintenance Management System: Must have experience using a maintenance management system, preferably SAP.
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail: Must be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to meet deadlines: Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate: Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
