Strategic Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our day-to-day operations and support the strategic direction of our service.

About the Position

The successful candidate will work closely with the Centre Director to provide overall leadership and management of the centre, ensuring high-quality programming aligned with the EYLF and Dripstone Way. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting overall leadership and management of the centre
  • Ensuring high-quality programming that meets regulatory compliance and best practice standards
  • Promoting continuous improvement and mentoring educators
  • Strengthening relationships with families and the local community
  • Deputising for the Centre Director as required
Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
  • At least 1 year in a senior role (e.g. Room Leader or Assistant Director)
  • Strong knowledge of NQF, National Law & Regulations, EYLF
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence to act as the Responsible Person and support all operational areas in the Director's absence
  • Current First Aid, CPR, WWCC (Ochre Card), and accredited Child Protection training
