Job Title: Evening Library Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Evening Library Specialist.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service during evening hours, ensuring the smooth operation of our Reading Rooms and Ask a Librarian phone service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reference services to users onsite and through online channels
  • Assist users in navigating library equipment, systems, and services

Additionally, the successful candidate will foster relationships within and outside the organization, bring innovative ideas, and contribute to implementing service enhancements and workplace advancements.

Requirements:

Applicants must possess qualifications or equivalent experience in Information Management, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or related fields.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

They should also be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
