Job Title: Fleet Manager

As a Fleet Manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of our logistics operations. Your primary responsibility will be to allocate and plan deliveries on a designated fleet within a specific scope of responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have basic to intermediate skills in MS Office applications and the ability to learn new systems and working with technologies. Good written and verbal communication, time management, and customer service skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manifest timely and efficient delivery of freight to achieve DIFOT and cost management targets.
  • Book additional ad-hoc transport as required.
  • Ensure dispatching depot is provided manifests and appropriate paperwork.
  • Liaise with depot supervisors and team leaders to ensure timely loading of PUD vehicles.
  • Investigate and resolve service and/or operational issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Fleet planning or allocation experience within the transport sector.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, suggest solutions or escalate as required.
