Job Title

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will provide efficient and effective patient services while supporting the National Emergency Access Targets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in frontline customer service and strong problem-solving skills. They should also be able to effectively communicate with clinical staff members and work autonomously in a multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Provide accurate collection of mandatory patient registration data
  • Identify and record information as required
  • Offer timely communication support to clinical staff members

The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently under pressure in a busy and demanding environment, organise their work priorities to meet departmental benchmarks, and maintain confidentiality as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a frontline customer service role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Proficient keyboard and data entry skills
  • Ability to work a 24-hour rotating roster with flexibility
