Holiday Program Assistant Role

Are you passionate about working with children and making a difference in their lives?

About the Job

This role involves assisting our Mighty Kids therapy program, an intensive intervention for children aged 6-13 years with hand and gross motor challenges.

  • Deliver the intervention alongside a child and therapist
  • Receive regular support and training from experienced physiotherapists and occupational therapists
  • Learn about Mighty Kids, motor learning principles, and how to structure goal-directed therapy
Volunteer Commitment

A minimum commitment of 2 days during the program week is required.

Benefits

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an evidence-based therapy approach, learn from experienced paediatric professionals, and contribute to a large clinical randomised trial.

You will also receive a certificate of attendance.

Requirements

To be eligible, you must be aged 16 years or above and hold relevant clearance checks.

We encourage all volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and adhere to our NDIS Worker Code of Conduct.
