About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Community and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join our team at SecureEnergy JV. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering community and stakeholder engagement and communication activities for our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Engagement team to build stakeholder engagement and create project content and communication materials.
  • Arrange and attend stakeholder information sessions and organize leaflet distribution as required.
  • Support media announcement opportunities and produce marketing collateral focused on project initiatives.
  • Support the planning and delivery of community-focused information sessions, small events, and site tours.
  • Coordinate timely responses to matters of community interest, including project design, significant milestones, changed traffic conditions, and construction activities.
  • Coordinate site visits to our various worker accommodation camps.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in the construction industry or similar role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to build stories and narratives that are engaging and informative.
  • A good understanding of engagement principles and familiarity with the IAP2 Public Participation Spectrum.
  • Demonstrated experience using a variety of internal and external communication channels.
  • Strong focus on ensuring messaging is appropriate and tailored for the intended audience.
  • Works collaboratively within a team and across the project.
