Strategic Tax Leadership Opportunity

This esteemed role presents a unique chance to spearhead a portfolio of complex tax engagements, encompassing tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.

As a senior member of the tax team, you will be responsible for reviewing and overseeing the preparation of income tax returns, activity statements, and other tax-related documents.

Key responsibilities include providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of tax matters, including corporate and individual taxation, international tax, and tax risk management.

Additionally, you will mentor and supervise a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service.

Collaboration with other departments within the firm is also essential in delivering integrated solutions that meet clients' evolving needs.

Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, regulations, and industry trends is crucial to ensure the firm's tax services remain competitive and compliant.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a recognised accounting or tax qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, or equivalent).
  • At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in a tax advisory or compliance role, preferably within a professional services firm.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of tax disciplines, including corporate tax, international tax, and tax compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex tax concepts into easily understandable advice for clients.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
