As a Senior Accountant, you'll engage directly with clients, handle complex work, and broaden your commercial knowledge. You'll take on increasing responsibility with clients who rely on us as trusted advisors.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in public practice (business services/tax) and strong technical skills in accounting and tax compliance. Proficiency in Xero and MS Office is required, while experience with XPM, NowInfinity, and Practice Ignition is highly regarded.

A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. The role offers a clear and accelerated pathway to an Assistant Manager role, direct mentorship from senior leaders, and exposure to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
  • Review of bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • Preparation and review of BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
  • Provide corporate secretarial support and instruction
  • Conduct interim tax planning and advisory
  • Liaise with clients regarding tax queries, business structuring, and compliance obligations
