Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Privacy Manager to join our team in Sydney, NSW. This role is responsible for supporting our privacy compliance program, providing specialist advice on privacy compliance, and promoting privacy awareness across the business.

About the Role

  • Support the upkeep and improvement of our privacy ecosystem, framework policies, and procedures.
  • Provide specialist advice and support on privacy compliance to all business divisions.
  • Assist with privacy incident and breach management, as well as regulatory interactions.
  • Develop and manage regular network events, materials, and activities for the Privacy Champions network.
  • Promote privacy compliance across the business by developing materials and conducting awareness sessions.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, with demonstrated experience in developing and managing a privacy compliance program.
  • Significant experience in senior privacy risk and/or compliance roles, particularly in complex financial service institutions.
  • A strong understanding of internal governance and risk management, including privacy obligations, controls, and risk management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with audiences at all levels.
  • The ability to analyze and interpret complex information from various sources and express it clearly and impactfully.
