About the YMCA Geelong Basketball Club
The YMCA Geelong Basketball Club is a premier basketball organization in Geelong, with over 30 teams competing in the local competition. We are seeking a volunteer basketball coach to join our team and help develop the skills of our young players.
The coaching role is available in our junior division, coaching teams in the Under 10 to Under 14 age groups. The coaching is on a voluntary basis, with a commitment of 2-3 hours per week. The coaching will commence immediately, and games and training times will vary depending on the age group.
While previous experience playing or coaching basketball is an advantage, we offer mentoring programs and certified training courses to assist those with little or no basketball experience to get involved. This is a great opportunity to gain skills and experience in working with children and young people.
