About the YMCA Geelong Basketball Club
The YMCA Geelong Basketball Club is one of the premier basketball clubs in Geelong, with over 30 teams competing in the domestic competition.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate basketball coach to join our junior division in the Under 10-Under 14 program.
As a basketball coach, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of young athletes, developing their skills and promoting a love for the game.
Previous experience playing or coaching basketball is an advantage, but we also offer mentoring programs and certified training courses to support coaches with little or no experience.
The coaching role is voluntary, with a commitment of 2-3 hours per week, and games and training times will be flexible to accommodate your schedule.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience and skills in a sporting or education career, and to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Applicants must be over 15 years of age and must complete a national criminal history check, international criminal history checks where applicable, and hold or obtain a valid Working with Children Check.
