Job Overview

As we continue to evolve in the digital space, we're looking for an experienced leader to oversee the development and management of data products and business warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing technical team delivering data products and business warehouse solutions.
  • Oversee the design, delivery, and maintenance of scalable data solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Support the Data Centre of Excellence, including governance frameworks, warehouse operations, and product lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure fit-for-purpose technical designs and smooth integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You'll need to be a strong people leader with a deep technical understanding of data products and warehouse systems.

  • 5+ years' experience working with data products in the energy, utilities, or mining sectors is essential.
  • Familiarity with metering data, LiDAR, spatial data, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Microsoft Power BI is advantageous.
  • A proven ability to lead teams, prioritise competing demands, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time is crucial.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively are required.
  • A continuous learning mindset and passion for staying across data and industry trends are vital.
  • Experience working in complex environments, with a strong understanding of governance, change management, and quality assurance practices is desirable.
