Cloud Architect Role

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our clients.

This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud-based architectures, data integration, and management. You will need to have experience with developing and deploying applications using at least two of the following languages: Ruby, Java, Python, Node.js, PHP, or Go.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of key data services offered by Heroku, including Kafka, Redis, and Postgres DB, paired with expertise in data migrations and integrations, particularly with Heroku Connect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our clients
  • Develop and deploy applications using at least two of the following languages: Ruby, Java, Python, Node.js, PHP, or Go
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and advancements
Requirements
  • Advanced degrees or certifications related to cloud architecture, such as Heroku Architecture, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in software development and cloud-based architectures
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead multi-functional teams and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical solutions
