Salary: $97,378 - $101,788 per annum + Superannuation

This role is part of our ongoing efforts to support vulnerable families and communities. As an Early Childhood Coordinator, you will play a crucial part in enhancing relationships and networks with early years and health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong referral pathways with child health and education services for families with children aged 0-5 years.
  • Collaborate with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally diverse organisations to address systemic barriers and ensure engagement with families is culturally sensitive.
  • Represent Act for Kids at regular stakeholder meetings, network events, and workshops to promote our services.

About You:

  • You hold a tertiary degree in community development, social work, or human services.
  • You have at least 3 years' experience working in community development, with a deep understanding of child protection issues and the sector in Queensland.
  • You possess knowledge of community development and ecological systems theories, collective impact, and the ability to build social capital within a community context.
  • You can work collaboratively, building strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community.

Requirements:

  • You must be eligible for a Working with Children Check or have a professional exemption.
  • You require a current driver's licence.
  • You must be legally able to work in Australia.
