The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in reinforcing the organization's governance framework, ensuring it remains robust and effective.
About This Opportunity- This position requires a strong understanding of commercial and community leasing principles, as well as experience in complaint handling.
- A Bachelor's degree in Law or a relevant field is essential, along with Admission to the Australian Bar.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the organization's governance frameworks.
- Provide expert legal advice, coordinate external counsel, and contribute to best practice compliance and governance initiatives.
- Manage the organization's lease portfolio, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing agreements.
- Offer guidance, training, and support to staff on governance and legal matters.
- Investigate complaints and ensure compliance with the organization's Complaints Management Policy.
- Prepare high-quality reports, policies, procedures, and briefings to inform decision-making.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial/community leasing and complaint handling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
