Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Improvement Lead to become a vital part of our Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement team. This role is based at our central office in Balcatta and plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with the latest Aged Care Standards and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategies for the effective application of new aged care quality standards.
- Conduct regular evaluations and audits to assess the success of the quality standards in place.
- Guide the integration of essential quality processes throughout the Enterprise Quality and Risk Management Framework.
- Facilitate advisory groups, working closely with various stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Create and apply performance metrics to track the success of quality enhancement initiatives.
- Encourage a culture of learning and professional development within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health requirements, including appropriate Injury Risk Management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, Quality Assurance, Nursing, or a related field.
- Significant experience in quality management, compliance, and risk management within the healthcare or aged care sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of aged care quality standards and the enterprise quality and risk management framework.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing performance metrics and generating quality performance reports.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in electronic care systems.
