The Head of Governance, Culture and Reporting role plays a critical part in this mission, working closely with the Provisioning Leadership team to foster strong cross-functional relationships across the business unit and beyond.

This permanent, full-time position may be based at our Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney offices, offering flexible hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and dissemination of accurate and timely reports for the Provisioning and Connected Care Risk and Governance forums, including Board meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to uplift risk reporting, providing proactive insights for the business.
  • Oversee data collection and analysis to produce meaningful reports and actionable insights.
  • Drive initiatives to cultivate and sustain a positive risk culture aligned with Bupa values.
  • Partner with the APAC Enterprise Risk Team to implement risk culture plans for the Provisioning and Connected Care businesses, enhancing risk awareness.
  • Strategically develop and deploy risk culture interventions across the business unit, monitoring their implementation and benefit realization.
  • Support the Connected Care business in applying risk and compliance policy frameworks, facilitating risk and control assessment activity, incident and issue management processes, and driving a risk-aware culture.

Your Background:

We seek a senior risk and governance leader with a minimum of 10 years' experience gained within a large healthcare setting. You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Risk & Compliance Management, Law, or Business.
  • Extensive experience leading a governance or reporting function, preferably in a multidisciplinary organization, assessing complex risks, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to senior stakeholders.
  • A high level of financial and commercial capability, with proven experience applying financial and operational performance frameworks to drive successful business outcomes and contractual obligations.
  • Possession of a deep understanding of organizational and risk culture, with excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the political, legislative, regulatory, compliance, and consumer environments affecting the Health Industry, as well as key competitors.

Compensation Package:

We offer an estimated salary of $250,000 - $320,000 per annum, reflecting your exceptional skills and experience.
