Role Overview

The Learning and Capability Risk Manager plays a vital role in safeguarding the organisation against potential risks and promoting a culture of proactive risk management.

This position involves strategically executing learning and development initiatives to support the effective implementation of risk management frameworks across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training best practices and standards across different business segments
  • Ensure effective execution of required training programs, foster strong partnerships with business leaders and stakeholders, and drive employee engagement
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and consultations with business teams to identify skill gaps and opportunities for growth
  • Design comprehensive educational solutions to address identified gaps and promote organisational excellence
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs by collecting and analysing data, preparing detailed reports, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement based on feedback and performance metrics

The Learning and Capability Risk Manager will also remain updated with the latest trends and advancements in risk management and training methodologies, incorporating innovative approaches into training curricula to ensure continuous growth and compliance.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development roles, ideally within the financial services industry. Prior experience working with design and delivering training & information to employees is essential. Strong communication skills are required to inspire and influence diverse audiences at all levels of the organisation.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills are necessary to drive results-oriented collaboration and achieve organisational objectives.
