We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Senior Environmental Planning Lead.

About the Role
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing environmental assessment and impact statement projects.
  • You will contribute to staff wellbeing, retention and engagement, while fostering an engaged and motivated team of well-qualified and experienced staff.
  • Your strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior and mid-level consulting staff will enable them to develop their skill sets in the environmental planning and approvals technical area.
  • You will network and influence at peer levels, establish industry recognition as a leader in specialist discipline with well-established industry networks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (with postgraduate qualifications preferred) in an appropriate discipline such as environmental science, environmental planning, town planning and/or environmental engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading the growth and development of teams and individuals.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, influencing and leadership skills.
  • A drive to develop new client relationships and expand existing ones through timely delivery of projects, value for money and quality service.
  • REAP Certification, or eligibility for certification.
  • A high level of technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, due diligence and land use planning.
  • Extensive experience leading and managing environmental assessment and impact statement projects.
