Position OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and seasoned Senior Commercial Manager to collaborate with our government and aligned private sector partners. This role involves evaluating, structuring, and implementing solutions that enhance the delivery of quality social and affordable housing. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial insight, a commitment to social impact, and the enthusiasm to work within a dynamic, fast-paced team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Capital Sourcing: Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with financial institutions, fund managers, impact investors, philanthropic organizations, and capital advisory firms to secure funding for new housing initiatives.
- Commercial Evaluation and Analysis: Oversee the identification, assessment, and execution of new project opportunities. Conduct thorough due diligence, market research, financial modeling, and impact evaluations to inform sound investment decisions.
- Risk Assessment: Manage commercial interactions with external consultants, critically analyze and interpret their advice, and proactively address and mitigate identified risks.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial management, ideally within the housing or finance sectors.
- Strong leadership capabilities that inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High-level strategic thinking with robust commercial insight.
